About Liad

Meet Liad Ohayon: he lives in Netanya, looks after the four apartments on this site himself, and answers every message in person. An Airbnb Superhost — now taking bookings direct, without the platform commission.

Hi, I’m Liad. I live in Netanya and I look after the four holiday apartments on this site myself. There is no agency and no call centre behind this page. When you send a request, I am the one who reads it, and I am the one who answers you on WhatsApp.

I started hosting on Airbnb about a year ago. In that first year guests left twenty-five reviews averaging 4.84 out of 5, Airbnb made me a Superhost, and my response rate has stayed at 100%. What guests mention most is that I answer fast and actually fix things. That is the part I am not willing to lose by growing.

What this is, and what it isn’t

These are four private apartments, not a hotel. No reception desk, no lobby, no 24-hour concierge. What there is instead is a host who lives in the same city — someone who knows which lift is slow, which beach entrance is closest and who to call when the boiler stops. If you want a front desk and anonymity, a hotel will serve you better. If you want a real apartment and a person who picks up, you are in the right place.

The four apartments

All four are in Netanya, all four are within walking distance of the sea, and all four have a Mamad — the reinforced safe room built into Israeli flats. I know each one in detail: the beds, the parking, the walk to the beach, which synagogue is closest. Ask me before you book rather than guess.

The Ussishkin RooftopA private rooftop in the city centre, two minutes on foot from the beach and Independence Square.

Seafront PanoramaRight on the seafront — the entrance to the supervised beach is at the foot of the building.

Park & Sea Tower ApartmentA new building with a sea-view balcony and free parking, a short walk from the beach and the Winter Pond reserve.

Sunset Jacuzzi ResidenceA large family apartment with a jacuzzi, near Independence Square and the beach.

Why book directly with me

Booking platforms are useful — that is where most of my guests found me, and my listings are still there. But a platform sits in the middle of the deal and charges for the seat twice: a service fee added to your total at checkout, and a commission taken out of what reaches me. Booking here removes both. That is the entire trick. There is no catch and no lesser version of the apartment.

  • A lower price for the same apartment. No service fee on your side and no commission on mine — the same flat, the same host, less money lost in the middle.
  • A real conversation before you pay. Tell me who is coming and what matters — a cot, a late flight, an arrival before Shabbat — and we settle it on WhatsApp first.
  • Flexible arrival where the calendar allows. I try to fit check-in and check-out around your flights rather than the other way round.
  • Shabbat questions answered properly: which apartment is set up most comfortably, where the nearest synagogues are, what can be prepared before candle-lighting.
  • Local knowledge, free. Where to swim, where to eat, where to park, and which beach is quietest on a Friday morning.

And if you would rather have a platform’s protections and pay for them, book on Airbnb instead — same apartment, same host, no hard feelings. Direct is simply the version without the middleman.

How a direct booking works

  1. Pick an apartment and send a request with your dates and the number of guests. Nothing is charged at this stage and you are committed to nothing.
  2. I check the live calendar and confirm availability and the full price in writing — usually within a few hours, often much faster.
  3. You receive a secure payment link. Once the payment is in, the dates are yours and you get a written confirmation.
  4. Before you arrive I send the exact address, arrival instructions and my phone number. During the stay I am one message away.
